On December 4, 2023, the premiere of the new movie Emília by the director Martin Šulík took place in the New Building of the Slovak National Theatre. The music score for the film was written by Vladimír Godár.

At the concert of the Slovak Chamber Orchestra, which was organized as part of Bratislava Music Festival on September 24, 2023, the musicians led by Ewald Danel performed Godár’s Barcarolle for viola and orchestra. The soloist was the amazing viola player Kristina Nouzovská Fialová.
