A beautiful CD was published at the end of 2024, Magnificat by the Artistic Company Lúčnica. In addition to the pieces by John Rutter and Charles Gounod, we can find there Vladimír Godár’s Magnificat. The solo is sung by the soprano Jana Kurucová, harp is played by Katarína Turnerová, Lúčnica Chorus was prepared by the choirmaster Elena Matušová. The Slovak Chamber Orchestra is led by Ewald Danel.

The new recording was presented for the first time in the Slovak Philharmonic on December 15, 2024, where all the pieces were performed.

The autumn edition of the Convergences festival brought also the performance of Godár’s piece Bikít Gigamesh for bass and cello in the Klarisky concert hall. The solo bass of Peter Mikuláš was accompanied by Jozef Lupták’s cello. In the course of the two decades the performers have the piece in their repertory, they realized over dozen performances. Their experience with it reflected in a successful interpretation, filled with feeling and expression.

A new chamber concert hall was created in the successfully reconstructed spaces of Albrecht House, in which concerts of the new concert cycle Domus artis started to take place. On May 5, 2024 at the concert named Canciones amatorias, Martin Ruman accompanied by Martin Krajčo presented Godár’s piece La Canzona refrigerativa dell'arpa di Davide in a version for viola and guitar. Afterwards Irena Troupová and Martin Krajčo performed the song Sunéčko.
